Our graduate, Bastien DICQUE (ISA 2024), tells you about his adventure after 100 days!
"It's April 13, and precisely 100 days since I left Lille🚴♂️🌄
In 100 days, I covered almost 10,000 km through 13 countries, crossing breathtaking landscapes 🌍 I had the opportunity to meet countless people and witness the generosity of the inhabitants of each country I visited 🙌
Over the past two weeks, I've cycled through Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Northern Macedonia, Kosovo, and back to Montenegro 🇷🇸🇧🇦🇲🇪🇦🇱🇲🇰🇽🇰 I've explored a region I've been looking forward to: the Balkans. 🏞️
This region had been described to me as magnificent with an extremely welcoming population, and I can only confirm this after these two weeks on my bike. I've lost count of the number of times I've been welcomed with open arms and offered everything possible for a traveler 😊 Montenegro is already my favorite in terms of landscapes ❤️"
Here are some figures since the beginning of the adventure:
- 9,615 km cycled 🚴♂️
- 89,717 m ascent ⛰️
- 436 h 10 of cycling ⏳
- 74 days of cycling / 28 days of rest 🛌
- €16,201 raised for Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque ❤️
"For the next two weeks, I plan to travel up the Croatian coast to Munich, via Austria and Slovenia. Best of all, I'll be meeting up with family and friends along the way! 😍🤗"
